"I grew up in the Keys, and this place is so intimate that I consider everyone my extended family. When you live in paradise, it's easy to forget that not everyone is as fortunate as you are. But if you step back for a moment and think about what's really important in life, isn't the answer always family?
I have been very fortunate and successful because I had a strong foundation growing up. I think if every kid could have the kind of love and support I grew up with, there's no doubt this would be an even more spectacular place to live. I'm so grateful to be able to aid the efforts of the Florida Keys Children's Shelter and I'm really looking forward to seeing the outcome of their hard work."
